TweetFrom June 14, the Croatia Airlines will fly weekly (every Tuesday) with an Airbus A319 on this route.
Croatia Airlines will also start new flights from Split to Bucharest, Milan, Dublin and Stockholm during the summer season, bringing the total number of routes from Split to 18. The coastal city will be the main base of the Croatian airline after Zagreb this summer, with the base of two aircraft - one Airbus A319 and one Dash 8 Q400 turboprop.
There is quite a lot of competition on the route between Schiphol and Split: EasyJet, Transavia and KLM also fly between the two airports. In addition, Transavia also flies daily between Rotterdam and Split during the summer months, with even two return flights on Sundays.
Split is booming as a tourist destination, partly because of the historic center, the cheap restaurants and the location on the Adriatic Sea.
